Introduction to Christmas Crisis
I’ve been working on something other than just “Twin Arson Brothers” (Check the stories by Callie Shaw or Bayport Gazette Issue 6). I thought that I should think up of something more original. So there: Dave Arson is going solo with his friends from college in Los Angeles. You can check out my personal website at www.geocities.com/rising_teenwriter to learn more. But first, I better introduce ‘Christmas Crisis’. It’s a crossover with the Hardy Boys in New York City. A killer is after Taylor Megeris, the famous director---but Dave ruins the killer’s Christmas, putting his life into danger in conclusion. Then Megeris’s daughter gets kidnapped, along with Frank Hardy, apparently being mistaken for Dave. It’s non-stop action all the way!
Main Characters
Frank and Joe Hardy: The adventurous, famous mystery-cracking sons of Fenton Hardy are everyone’s favorite characters from Bayport. Frank is eighteen, with dark hair and brown eyes. He is the clever and levelheaded one among the brothers. Meanwhile, Joe is seventeen with blonde hair and blue eyes, and is shorter than Frank by an inch. He is eager to have action, and almost never fails without getting himself into trouble.
Dave Arson: From Los Angeles, California, David William, or known as Dave, is eighteen and has a bright mind. The only mystery about him is his 24/7 smile. A freshman of the United College of California, he has chocolate brown hair and blue eyes, and is known that he could be Frank Hardy’s twin if it isn’t for the eyes. Dave is the star reporter of College Today!, his college newsletter, and he always gets the best articles to write. While everyone thinks that he’s a successful and daring teenager, he has a heavy grief in his heart. His twin brother, Roy, is lying in a hospital bed back home with leukemia, and Dave is scared that he’s going to lose his other half forever.
Stan Michaels: Stan is Dave’s best friend and partner in the club. He’s the photographer of College Today! He’s always there to help Dave in a crisis, even though he’s sometimes scared out of his mind. He isn’t really bright, but he has all the laughter and is the best companion to be with.
Nick Anderson: Nick only appears in the beginning few chapters of the story. He’s the second reporter of the college newsletter and son of a famous journalist. Nick is very observant and loves to have fun.
Jimmy Schneiz: Although Jimmy isn’t in the club, he’s still one of Dave’s best friends. A freshman genius who’s a year younger than Dave and Stan, he’s good in looking up information from the computer and building up a neat invention.
