If you have been following my other stories "I Thee Wed" and "While She Slept", you will see that when starting a new story my goal will be to pick up where the old story left off. That is not the case with "The Carjackers". It is a story within itself. "The Carjackers" is much like the old "Choose Your Own Adventure Series." In this story, you get to tag along with Frank and Joe on their assignment! Based on the decisions you make, you will arrive at one of FIFTEEN possible endings. For fun I ask that when you reach your ORIGINAL ending to please email me at mountainmiss@hotmail.com with the chapter heading in the subject line. On March 15, I will display the results on Moonstar's Message board. Then we can all see who thought alike!

This is the general idea: You have just moved to Bayport and made quick friends with Joe, because of your common interest in sports. Joe usually has to share your friendship with Frank though because you share an interest with him in computers. They were both thrilled when you expressed an interest in joining them in their detective work. Thank goodness you have cool parents who allow you to expose yourself to mortal danger and supply endless funds, just like Fenton and Laura! You quickly discover that you are pretty good in the field of detecting, and quickly find yourself in many scrapes alongside your best buds. This case will be no exception. Although the new member of the group, you will find that many of the life and death decisions of this case will be left entirely up to you. The lives and well being of Frank and Joe will depend entirely upon your decisions! Now, I like these guys, so please don't kill or maim them, but all I can say is "choose wisely."
