Frank and Joe Hardy’s lives couldn’t get any more complicated even if they tried, with their friends at war with each other and there own friendships disintegrating before their eyes, their lives suddenly take a dramatic turn for the worse.

When Frank almost drowns in a freak accident, questions are thrown up instantly. Joe however, isn’t prepared to listen to his older brother, until another hideously filled accident bestows him. Are all these coincidences, or carefully planned attacks..?! It’s not long before the young detective duo is considering the latter.

Meanwhile, Nic Prito finally returns to Bayport, harbouring a rather special secret, and it’s not before long that’s he confronting Joe with the truth of his illness, sending shock waves through both of their tight knit families. However that isn’t the youngest Prito’s only secret.

When the so-called accidents begin to happen in a rather unique way to each member of the detective team, the boys worryingly realise that someone has a lot of information on their personal fears and is hell bent in bringing them to life. However, when a brevied mother turns to Nic for help in catching her daughter’s killer, instead of the Hardy boys, Frank and Joe begin to wonder exactly what is going on, especially when a specialist Agent takes over the case in Bayport.

Is this all just one huge coincidence, or has Nic’s return to the coast created a vortex of killings..? Is the kind hearted youngster in over his head and just too afraid to ask for help..? Or will blind loyalty to each other; lead them all to their deaths..?
